Original Broadcast: Monday, March 12, 2018

Complimentary Download

The best development professionals are effective team players. The ability to build strong relationships and steward partnerships with other staff, senior leadership, and volunteers is vital. Perhaps no relationship – or PARTNERSHIP – is more important than the CDO/CEO relationship. Or in some cases, your relationship as a development professional with a senior member of your organization’s administration.

We invite you to learn more about what an effective CDO/CEO relationship looks like, how it works, how you can develop it, what it can do to help you unlock in your own fundraising, and much more. Dyan Sublett (President, MLK Community Health Foundation) and Dr. Elaine Batchlor (Chief Executive Officer, Martin Luther King, Jr Hospital) will share some of their lessons learned and advice to share on how to build a lasting and fruitful partnership. Their partnership has been a key factor in the resurrection and success of this hospital – a place that went from being known as “Killer King” to now being known as “The Hospital of the Future.”

Join this dialogue and learn how this partnership can give us all a better understanding – and tools – for productive partnerships.
