Each year, CCS hosts Perspectives on Philanthropy events around the country to inform and elevate the nonprofit sector with philanthropic data. This year, our program will continue to be virtual as we dive into the 2020 Giving USA data to examine how the events of 2020 affected philanthropy in the United States. In addition, we will engage a panel in conversation on three key questions as we all plan how best to move forward.

  1. What changes did you make to your fundraising strategy in 2020 that you are you keeping forever?

  2. What strategies or tactics were abandoned in 2020 that you will be throwing away for good?

  3. What’s your biggest new learning from the past year that you are carrying with you? Does the Giving USA macro data reflect your on-the-ground, lived experience?
