In Spring 2020, CCS Fundraising surveyed over 1,100 individuals across the fundraising industry to measure the current progress, challenges, and areas of need for nonprofits across the country. The results of the survey, detailed in this report, provides a picture of the state of nonprofit organizations across all philanthropic sectors, and their activities. This installment of the Philanthropic Climate Survey – the first in a regular series – focuses primarily on the behaviors of nonprofits in the first two months of the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope this data will help you to measure your fundraising activities with comparable organizations and inform future strategies during this unprecedented time.
