CCS’s latest Philanthropic Climate Survey report provides a snapshot of how more than 1,000 respondents from across the nonprofit community are persevering amid challenges, evolving their fundraising tactics, and planning for 2021 and beyond. 
 
The results discussed in this report, collected from January 13 through January 21, 2021, represent the fourth installment of CCS's Philanthropic Climate Survey series and build on trends tracked in previous reports
 
Respondents to our fourth-edition survey provided insights on topics including:
  • How the COVID-19 pandemic affected fundraising in 2020
  • Expectations for fundraising results in 2021
  • Success levels for virtual events and virtual major gift solicitations
  • Effects of widespread calls for racial equity and social justice on operations and fundraising
  • Current practices and future plans for remote work
  • Changes to cases for support
